Misery

Ches didn't get the job here that we really wanted. We got the call last night. So now we are scrambling, trying to figure out what we should do and where we should go. There is nothing here for us. I guess it's time to say goodbye to Nevada. Or at least Reno (who knows. Maybe we'll end up in Vegas!!).

I heard a song on the radio today that I hadn't heard in a while. It's "Misery" by Soul Asylum. Most of the song I never really listen to. One line, however, describes my feelings particularly well:

FRUSTRATED INCORPERATED.

We could build a factory, and make misery,
We'll create the cure, we made the disease

They say misery loves company. HUGS! Things will come out right, I know they will. The good things come right after you think you can't take one more ounce of bad things. Unfortunately, you're a tough woman, so you might still have a while! Here's hoping your pain and frustration is short-lived, you deserve some good news.

Angel -- He's been going to school for the past two years, getting his master's degree. Now he's ready to go back and teach. So that's what we're trying to do right now.

Well, actually, he IS quite the man!! :) He has been going to school full time, been a graduate assistant full time (trust me... who he worked for it IS a full time and then some job), and worked part-time at a music store. Oh, and in the fall he was working with TWO local high school marching bands. Yup. He rocks. I know.

I'm positive that PM is right--and so is Angel. Ches is terrific! [And not every mother-in-law can say that--but I can about both my sons[and daughter]-in-law!

We'll all be praying. Things will work out. Just wish we could see now, how :)

Sariah--I have a new name suggestion for you: Keifer. OK, so, yes, I'm hoplessly hooked on 24. But Keifer IS a family name! OK, so it's seven generations back from your kids...I'm trying! {yes, I know...very :D]

Good luck on finding a new job! I've found that the last place you want to move is generally where you end up. And then you end up loving where you move! Good luck!

My post shoud be "You Can't Always Get What You Want" Thats the song they played last year when Tim was walking in to get his degree. Unfortunately it has continued into this year. Read my post for further explanation.

As for the name Keifer, he's a canadian do you would have that going for you too.

Okay if you had said "misery" by Soul Asylum I TOTALLY would have known that song. Love that song. Sorry that it's fitting with you right now though. Things will work out. You just got to think that maybe this job wasn't the best one for you. You have to taste the bitter in order to know the sweet. Big HUGS to you!
